Struggling to make a mall banner

Hello Hello! So, as some of you know, I struggled to make a shop banner for myself not long ago (actually got a nice one done monday and it's still not perfect)... With my graphic designer having neo issues (got frozen, is frustrated, prolly not getting her acct back and MAYBE rebuilding) I decided I would TRY to make a banner before asking her for a new one... So that's probably going to take me 1 to 2 weeks of long testing and trying and advices - which is why I'm here, if you want to help me :D This is JUST a size/positions setting, I chose a random font for now, just to set places... In MY opinion, buttons look.. Too big O.o But they look about the size of other "normal" mall banners so it's prolly just me... xD How's it look (size-wise)? ~ May ~ Thanks for your suggestions Olean, as I said, I don't really like image backgrounds, but I might just give in - I just didn't have time to work on it I didn't even notice we had that "best prices" on the banner, guess it's another reason to get me working on the banner ASAP I just got sick monday and was in bed all day and got a new job yesterday and started today so. .erm.. I've been busy xD

~ May ~ Ok, so since I want to get this done today or tomorrow, I won't be adding "toys" and such as cattegories for now, just make a new one without the words we had (as discussed before here) and a bit wider and .. more like me xD I have a half-draft, would only need to add the neo images to each cattegory... I KNOW the text for each button is not centered, I'm not sure I'll center all, it depends on the item images I decide to put.. Since that forum was changed to graphic opinion too so this fits there better ^^ (I didn't want to make a new topic about it)

I couldn't decide whether I wanted a Xbox 360 or PS3, and believe it or not, the beeaaaauuutiful home screen was one of the factors XD I'll probably end up being a heavy duty smoker just to see that beautiful smoke :P I'm ranting, and making myself look a little crazy and obsessive, so I'll stop now :P Good luck with your mall banner, only pay attention to Dmitri's opinion, he'll tell you whats really on his mind, and he's always right :P
