Hi, I just started malling a couple of days ago, and I've always wondered which is better: to have many of the same items or to have a wide variety of items?
I sell faerie items and my shop size is 91, in case anyone wants to know. :P

No hut hits from spooky market?

I think I may have some coding wrong. I am size 328 in the spooky market I'm second on the page of huts 220-230 (4th row of huts down on the right.)
I have not gotten any hits since I have been in the spooky market...about a month now. Is this normal?

1.) How many 4 mil. NB ad's should a person participate in?
A? The only answer I have heard to this is one ad per million np's you sell in a week. Do others agree with that?
2.) How much backup NP's should a person have in the till when at the main market level?
A? Never seen this answered personally I like to keep an extra 10 million on me. However I am starting to wonder if that isn't to much, and would be better invested in size upgrades.
3.) Can you ever have to many pages of inventory?

I am not sure as to what spot I want but I am pretty sure that the mall I am currently in has open spots, frozen shops and such...As result since I have joined traffic hasnt been great. The manager is currently busy and needs someone to take over the recruiting but school is starting for me in a week and I would really like to get settled in.
Have applyed for a couple spots, also petpets, grooming are other spots that are currently open in the mall I am intersted in joining.
I need your honest opinion on which spot in your opinion has the most traffic and if I should even consider switching.

so i just started with this new mall. do you guys have any advice on how to get books and training items? how to price them, and how to get people to acually buy them? im not making much np, becuase my shop is kinda over priced, but if its not over priced ill be making about the same with alot more work.

Okay. I have the Paintbrush category in a (small) mall. I stock Pbs, petpet pbs, and morphing potions.
According to the Portal:
290 item(s) stocked totalling 12,616,092 NP
(Based on data averaged from 11/08/2009 to 17/08/2009)
Items Sold: 14
Sales : 829,485 NP
Costs : 759,757 NP
Profits : 69,728 NP ( 09.2% )
It just seems.... odd. 70k profit a day (maybe a little more) for 12m worth of stock?
Is that normal?
