Considering Closig Shop

My shop sales are so bad--I am ready to give up and close shop. Since all I really do is my store--that means the end to Neopets for me.
My sales have been steadily decreasing over the past couple months. You would think that being part of a MM mall would help--and it does, but not as I had expected. I receive half of my hits from SW, 1/4 from mall and the rest mixed.
Am I doing something wrong, or have sales slumped across the boards.

Ok, so I stock Chocolate, Sweets and Bakery (size 358). Just started the last couple of days to take out some of the pages.
Is this wise? For this catagory, should I stock a lot of different items, or just bulk stock specific items?
A lot of my items dont sell, because I took a break, and I havent had time to reprice. Im not sure if its better to just reprice them and keep them in my shop, or just bulk stock the items that sell... What do you guys think?

What is the best way to upgrade your shop?
Do you just put all your neopoints you make back into your shop?

Category Help?

I am looking to take up a new category. I am looking for something that is popular and makes some profit. Also, I am looking to have a category where I can stock at least 3 pages with about 300k. I don't want a very expensive category as I am starting off again from not malling for some time. If you think your category is good, please let me know about how much you spend restocking and the profits you make. Thank you very much!

Hits question

Alright.
I have two spots I'm always in the red - shop wizard prices and noticeboard ad hits.
I'm not concerned about the NB ad hits - some participate much more than me.
I am curious though, on the top 30 shops, how I am SOOO far behind on SW hits.
The vast majority of us in the top 30 are MM shops so you'd think we would all be around the same in the SW department.
Yet, I am a good 50-70% in the red in this section, depending on the day.
Do you think it's worth it to up the amount in my shop that's SW priced?

Out of category pricing help

Just wondering which of the following you think is the most effective for selling none wearable items (ie dailies junk and rs items) in a wearable shop. I've sold wearables as a lone category for over a year now, and during most of that time i've kept my shop strictly wearables only. However it's driving me a little crazy trying to sell buyable restocks via trades and auctions, and my sdb is overflowing with dailies crap. Here is my two choices

I'm a tiny shop. But I am curious to see my shop in relation to other shops in my hub. How does one find their hut in The Neopian Marketplace? Searching madly using shop sizes w/ranking?
I'm missing something! Unless you have to be gargantuan to be able to know where your shop is..

Should I change categories?

I am thinking about changing categories from grooming/wearables (I don't see the appeal of this category anymore: I don't have *too* much time to stock, and malling in general isn't pulling in too many neopoints for me) to avatar items/packrat.
I was just wondering if this was a good idea. Anybody who deals with this category (avatar items/packrat) please give me some advice!

If your Main Market Mall leader hasn't logged onto Neopets for 1.5 months+ what should you do?

My mall leader dissappeared 1.5 months ago without a trace.
Since then one other mall member and myself have filled 3 vacant/inactive spots and done general mall/hut management.
We'd kinda like to boot the old leader but that might cause future problems.
This is a good sized main market mall.
So far we thought about finding a temporary member / joining a larger mall as a new branch / making new banners (we don't have the expertise) / do nothing.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
