This isn't coding, this isn't a banner.
It is an idea.
Ideas are copied all the time. Please get it out of your mind that an idea can be COMPLETELY copyrighted because it can't be, and you have no say over what another mall can use.
Now if the coding was copied or if a banner was copied, fine come on and try to bitch at other members. But its an idea that was brought up.
And I'm sure EVERYTHING in your mall is COMPLETELY original and unique and was never done before.
Seriously, there really isn't anything to apologize about. You're trying to make this a bigger situation than it needs to be, for whatever reason, if you're bored or if you're trying to fill an ego.

I wasn't really saying to give Dmitri a heads up first, but more so agreeing that it seems like it was copied since everything else seems to not be an original idea either. There are way too many similarities for them to be original. But yes, I agree, I think before posting on a public forum about this great idea to interlink mall branches, that someone should have pm'd Dmitri and said "Hey, do you mind if we use this idea too?". Then it would be ok.
Dmitri is too smart to think that no one would use his idea of interlinking, which is why he said FIRST on his banners. I know I could keep up with the coding for all members when people leave - with just a few clicks all the names could be replaced.
But what minimall members want to change their code every time that someone leaves or joins, XMart is a group of MM Malls and the turnover is a whole lot smaller than that of a group like this.
You should give them permission, Dmitri, see how it pans out.

It's only slightly changed from how it used to be, enough to give it a face lift. It's not just about that. I'm just pointing out how obvious the similarities are. I couldn't have been the first to notice.
