can i use microsoft/paint to make a mall banner ?

ok i wanted to make a mall banner just for the fun of it and i started on microsoft but copied and pasted it onto paint because thats how i can get images of items to put on the banner but when i paste the item it has a white box around it... do i have to zoom in and manually get rid of this box or is there another easier way ?

Low shop sales seem to be a common thread right now. So would you say that we are in a recession or depression. Sales seemed to have tanked and no category has been spared. Share your thoughts and what do you think it will take to break the dry spell.

I have this code on my lookup, it's linked to my goal counter for my shop size. I clicked it last night, and so did a couple other people according to their posts on my board, but they're not showing up on the counter like it would with any other hit.
What am I doing wrong?

Hits Vs. Sales

So, I have a friend that is debating me because I said that we have about 10 shops getting less than 20 hits a day (in the Nursery Malls)...and those are just the ones registered with Neomallers..No idea about the others.
She is saying 'hits have nothing to do with profits'.
Well, I can semi understand that, but then...When everyone else is getting around a 100 and there are some with 7, is there not a problem?
Maybe prices too high?

What keeps you from going nuts while stocking/pricing your shop?
I refresh to find my SW group (A, N, 0) and price 1np below the 6th highest on the list.... but sometimes it takes forever to find my group. I sometimes get fed up and only end up pricing 2 or 3 items. >.<
What keeps you sane?
Or, more accurately put, what motivates you to stock/price your shop?
Any tips? I'm desperate, lol!

Main Market jump

Hi guys!
I was trying to save up around 22 millions and make the jump from 394 to 500~ or something, to reach Main Market...
But I was thinking it's not a smart move to do it all at once, cause that makes me need to stock all those items at once too...
So I was thinking on putting my 4 million now to upgrade, that'll put me above size 440 and I'll be able to stock those spots "sometime soon" and only then start upgrading again...
What do you think?

Besides missing my mall banner (coding is messed up on the petpage), any thoughts or constructive criticism for me?
I try to price nicely on the SSW, not too low but not high...etc. I want profits but also like returning customers. =)
I plan on a petpage again, even if some think they are un-needed, because I want one *lol*
I also plan on stocking more items, like lollis and the bon-bons, jelly beans, etc...

MM shops, what a difference!

We've had a mall member who has been unable to play for 3 months but we kept him in the mall because he's been in the mall for years and years (nice, huh?). The mall manager was JUST about to give him the boot when he came back. Aaany way, I usually get 20-ish mall hits but since he came back (he has a MM shop) I have been getting 40-ish, what a difference! WOW! Now just think if everyone in my mall was MM and tried to generate traffic...wow!
TKDJamesPakTKD -- I have noticed a HUGE jump in your shop hits since joining X3...any thoughts?
