Main Market Sizes

What is the sizes for main market. I am curious, I hear different sizes each time. I think the first one I remember and heard about was around 275. Please post your thoughts. Thanks.

NEED YOU HELP ON MALL IDEA

So I have just finished creating a new mall with an altador theme but before I use it I want to see if there are any other malls with similar themes so that I can make sure mines not too close. Do you know of any? The only one I know of is The Mallers League Altador Crew and mines is very different than that.
Any others I should know about?

Best Category for a size ~400 shop size

Cards/Stamps/Coins just isn't cutting it. What would be a good category for a shop size around 400 to sell? At least until I get to MM anyway.

This is possibly one of the most hated main mall spots. NB ads take 1847.38 years to recruit. Mall spots in this category are often left open for 2 milleniums or even 3. And from what I heard, sales/hits in this category are crap even in good malls.
what do you guys think? I personally think it's better to mall solo a popular spot like wearables lol

Do you send out weekly neomails reminding people that the payments are going to be due, or any other updates/info? Why or why not?
Personally, I feel it's their responsibility to make their own payments and that I shouldn't have to play mommy to 18 people. The only time I send neomails is when the payment hasn't been made by the night of the due date or later (or to recruit people, obviously).
What do you guys think?

Alright, I have a lot of questions. I've been a memeber on this site for a cpl weeks now and I'm very confused.
First question: What is a 4mil shop ad? What's it about??
Second question: What are people talking about when they're talkin about getting into "main" or "hut"? I haven't a clue....
And how do I get into there too? :D
Third question: What are the best selling unique items I should put in my shop? I usually just stick with the Food Shop, Book Store, Smoothies, and Chocolate Factory.
I'm a n00b I thoroughly admit it.

Trouble Creating Banner

So I have made my mall banner just fine using Word and Paint. I now have tried a new banner and I want to use one of the Neopets backgrounds as the picture but when I try to group the wordart and picture as one object it wont let me select both. I try pasting them separately into Paint but when I paste the words over the picture it keeps their white background. Is there a way to insert the text without having to manually cut it out? I dont have photoshop :/

I bought an ad for 1016 Neopoints that peaked at page 35. I got 6 hits in a week. I think that is pretty good for what I paid for it. I just wanted to see how it worked, the notice board thing and to see how many hits I could get in the middle of the board. How many hits to you guys get? Just copy and paste the appropriate category below and put your answers beside it if you want to participate.
