Cards/Stamps: Waste of mall spot and valuable code space? Or not.
This is possibly one of the most hated main mall spots. NB ads take 1847.38 years to recruit. Mall spots in this category are often left open for 2 milleniums or even 3. And from what I heard, sales/hits in this category are crap even in good malls. what do you guys think? I personally think it's better to mall solo a popular spot like wearables lol

Collectibles is bad, but I am guilty of filling my stamp album using only a few shops so some of the junk i bought was probably overpriced :P But it is still bad, but magic is probably worse :P

Magic is good when paired with Battledome (at least that was the standard) but many malls are separating it

Seems that way don't it? lol... I remember my very first category was Stamps/Cards/Coins, and I remember doing okay.. although that was like 3+ years ago.

Well I currently sell collectibles- and yes it is very bad. I liked it at first, made nice profit but now I don't even make enough to pay for my nb fee....

Under collectibles, it does better but cards/stamps is terrible. 1001np is next in line i think. Especially with NB ads - many of them charge 300k for a 1001np spot and to break even, you have to sell 300 extra items and that's not gonna happen lol

We have it listed as "collectibles" and our bigger shops seem to do well with it. As for 1000 NP deals, we did a revamp and paired that with grooming. It seemed like an odd combo at first, but overall seems to be brining more revenue to that category.

Yeah more and more malls are doing it now. No one used to use that name before though

You mention Battle being paired with Magic, does that make a considerable difference?

It is a hard spot to fill! I used to not even have it on my ad because it never filled but now I have someone and from what I understand they are doing well with it. I've never been able to fill magic or battledome though. Not once. Maybe I didn't try hard enough but meh. -------------------- Want to be part of a 4 Mil NB ad? The category is VERY time consuming though, I was constantly having to keep up with my stock... which is the reason I switched from the category.
