Oh really? BD/Magic was usually one of the first spots to get filled for me lol And yeah 1001 is a hard spot. It looks like you're getting profit but when you do the math, getting that 300+ extra sales is very difficult especially with the current crappy scenario And I barely break even with my NB ads under a fairly popular spot. Again it looks like I'm making 10 times what I paid for on the NB ad, but once inputted into Portal, there's a surprise.

Yea with the hit counter and the portal I'm really starting to see that all the money I thought I was making isn't really all that much. Especially once I take out the fees and other random stuff I pay for such as upgrades and such.

Yeah I have problems breaking even with ads too, probably because my shop is too small though Does that usually change in the summer or is pretty standard?

It's a bit better in the summer (and even better if you're in a mall ad) but still. Mini Mallers often think Nb ads are awesome since it often triples or even quadruples their sales but once you factor in the costs, then it starts looking grim.

Hm, I just acquired the 1000NP & Avatars category with my Maps & Neggs & Morphing category and its doing pretty well. There's so many 1000NP items out there that need to be stocked but I just can't keep up. I agree to, I forgot the name, whoever said that he/she had a 1001NP category and it did well and the reason she/he had to quit was because she/he could not keep up with the restock. Well, that is what I'm feeling right now. I need to do 10 upgrade every single day to keep up! But then if I do that, items will be sold again and I'm left with more restock... Anyways, the good side part of this is that I get many profit this way of not just having one category. Since my previous category was pretty "unpopular", having two is dandy. You're in for a surprise. Your wish has just been granted! http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=1434sweet Do you need more shop sales? Come participate in a 4 million shop advertisement! I think the categories are what you make of them, we've had Toys opened in 2 malls & it seems nobody wants those spots. As for Cards/Stamp spot it sure looks like coco_cornucopia is doing an excellent job with it & loves it, she is always in the top 20 :P Check out my Faerie Shop: http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=texas_girl_95

I agree every category is what you make of it. If anyone wants to see for them self if the category is good or not, NeoBoutique is recruiting for that spot *lol*

Aw Thanks Texas :) of course being in a great mall helps a lot. I am a bad record keeper so it is hard to say what profit i actually make but it is all put into stock and upgrades atm. I have been in the mall a couple of months now, started at just main market size and have increased to 651 so i am very happy with that :)

I don't know for anyone else, but I'm doing okay with collectibles. Unfortunately, 4M Nb ad don't bring me enough sales to break even so I drop out of the ones I was on and I don't have that many hits from my mall (with the Your perfomance vs this page, I noticed that even if I have more hits than most in my mall, I'm always a lot lower in mall hits). It really seems to be an unpopular category from that point of view. I think the only reason it's still successfull is that I do keep low prices, so I have a lot of hits from the SW and still make decent profits (I think).
