Item Database Feature

Are there currently any plans for making a full neo Items Database featuring all the basic info and current, accurate, market prices on item? If not, I think it would be a good addition to the site. Similar to JN's database.

I have to say the fact that there's no crappy sound effects!
If Dimitri updated to include those, I'd probably shoot myself and not use the rest of the program.

Neomallers Portal organization suggestion

I know it would just be time consuming to write out, but could there be a way to organize the items in the portal in ID or price order? It makes sense to me to have one of those options because that's the way the shop shows them.
So, Opinions, Acceptances, denials, Fire away!

This is really random, but I've noticed for awhile they my clock is significantly ahead of the neomallers clock by around 25 minutes.
Obviously its not that big of a deal, but I was just curious as to whether its just me or if its a problem that could be fixed.

Ok. Beta testing for NeoMallers 9 is now out.
It is another attempt to address the item reset issue found here:
http://www.neomallers.com/node/1828
It also fixes some performance issues in shop front such as lag. The main interface has been updated to show some brief summary of your sales as well.
There was a bit of coding that messed it up
You can get this version (to either replace portal 8 or run along side it) www.neomallers.com/downloads/portal9.exe
You should download this to your current neomallers folder

New Guide Idea

I think that maybe there should be a guide teaching people how to stock their shops regularly. Do you snipe them, restock them, or find them? Also if you should put them into your shop right away or save them up. I'm suggesting this guide because I see alot of the experienced shop keepers saying they need to stock 1000+ items over the weekend and i always find myself wondering how they get so many items and wether or not they paid a few NP under the sell price or if they got them for cheap.
This is just a thought though, anyone like the idea?

Hmm....Shop counters suggestion?

Do you know how when you view your own shop counter, it displays how many hits you got the day before?
So I was just wondering if it was possible to have it display that for all the shops?
Like if we could have for all the top shops, hits today, average and then yesterday?
Of course, I don't do coding and such so I wouldn't know how hard it would be, dimitri :P
Especially for my mall, I would just like to see how I ended the day off compared to other mall membies as I won't be on at 12NST just to check that :P

Edit Low Stock Warning Level for all items across the board?

Mm, I don't know if anyone has suggested this before (and if they have I'll shut up. :O)... But it would be really awesome if you could change the Warning Level on all of your items... I currently have this set to 2, when I should have set it to 1 (2 is the number I have of most items when fully stocked, at least for now). As far as I can tell right now, I can either individually edit this number on all 709 items (no thanks), or uninstall the file that contains my data and reload everything.

For those who are having issues with databases going boom, I've included a new feature called "Database Guard" Although it sacrifices a tiny percent of speed, each entry is now double checked before the data is being written. In other words, if the portal is about to write empty values (which is what causes the databases to hiccup), portal will crash itself and shut down automatically to prevent damage to the DB) Hopefully this will eliminate these weird database glitches.
