Speaking of, I'm done with "The Hobbit" and am into the first bit of "The Fellowship of the Ring". I'm a little glad I watched the movie first as it is a tiny bit hard for me but remembering what happened in the movie helps.

I'm a chem major and a french major... so I get to read fun stuff for french, but I don't have time to read anything that isn't assigned, because of the stinky chem. :O But we're reading Le Tartuffe for french right now, so thats fun. :P ------------------------------------------------------------------- ~~ Come visit my map shop ~~

WOW bunch of bookworms here :) Soldier - I loved the flowers in the attic series It amazes me that VC Andrews still comes out with new books even though she has been deceased since Dec 1986 I bought the lord of the rings when the movies started to come out and still can't bring myself to read them I just finished the last harry potter and it's the best book of the series although I am still disappointed by the ending... I am currently reading Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz since reading twilight, vampire academy and the house of night I need a vampire fix every now and then...i am also reading Just after the sunset by stephen king...he really writes amazing short stories

I've only tried ready one of Stephen King's books and I just quit. He is too...Nasty? I prefer the movies over the books and that's the only time I'll say that. It was Cujo that I tried reading. I can tell you what moves of his that like :D And the answer would be all of them. I'm sure the books are good but as I said, too nasty.

I've never read Cujo - for that matter I've never watched the movie from start to finish either...My favorite King book is Needful Things I don't think the movie does the book justice...The only stephen king movie i ever really enjoyed was of course the shining and storm of the century

I just bought Blood Noir by Laurell K Hamilton. It's something like #15 in the Anita Blake vampire hunter series. I love a good vampire novel:) I'm also reading Wastelands a post-apocalypse anthology and I'm waiting for Under the Dome by Stephen King to come out. It's supposed to be his best work since The Stand (which I loved as opposed to Tommyknockers which I hated!) I'm reading Stuffed and Starved, as well, it's about the commercialization of farming and the food industry and how it's killing us. Yes, I'm reading 3 or 4 books at the same time-no wonder it takes me 3 months to finish one:P

I don't read non-fiction -- only fiction these days. I am currently reading an apologetic for the existence of God. He is such a prolific scary writer it makes me wonder / worry about the man. My favorite scary movie was Pet Cemetery -- I've seen Cujo, Carrie, Salem's Lot, Christine, Firestarter, Stand By Me, The Shining, Needful Things, Silver Bullet, Pet Cemetery, The Shawshank Redemption, Thinner, The Green Mile, and who knows how many TV mini series. ~ Mimi ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~ Mimi's Ménagerie ~ http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=temps_bons&misc
