What are you reading right now?

I'm quite a bookworm, as i'm sure many other mallers are too, so I figured this might make for an interesting topic to just share what we are currently reading and recommend great reads. I myself am currently reading the woman in white for a bookclub I joined. Really enjoying it so far, I quite like classics, and was surprised when this book came up in the club as i'd never heard of it. I finished reading Dracula in swedish yesterday, didn't find it as enjoyable as I thought I would. Not sure whether it was because my swedish still leaves a lot to be desired or whether it really just wasn't so good. So what are you reading? or what have you read recently?

I just couldn't read it, too boring. In the end I read a summary online so I knew what the lecturer was waffling on about in our lectures and seminars on it. ___________ Kirsty, aka evil super mod Sniper, maller, restocker Silverdragon siggy stealer Best wearables shop owner ever!

I haven't read Huck Finn yet, I just can't wait till I get to Hmm I should edit that to, I haven't read Huck Finn yet, I just can't wait till it's over once I start

I read The Odyssey by Homer for lit class and that's been it since the last Harry Potter book. I do LOVE Michael Crichton's books, so sad that he died :( His works include Jurassic Park, Sphere, Fear, State of Fear, Andromeda Strain. I loved them all. I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy just before I knew they were going to be movies. I tried reading The Silmarillian? I don't know if that's how you spell it but it's the book explaining how Middle Earth came to be and I quit reading it. There were so many names and many sound so alike that it was too confusing to read. One summer I decided that I was missing out by not having read any of the 'Classics' and I read about 20 books in 2 months. Dracula, Robinson Crusoe, 1984, Animal Farm, The Illustrated Man, and several others I can't remember off the top of my head. All so good.

I once read War and Peace by Tolstoy in 37 total hours. Had to cram for an exam.

I'm probably one of the last few people on the planet who has neither read The Lord of the Rings nor seen the movies. *lol* I'm more a Harry Potter nerd. And Twilight. Can't forget Twilight. If you haven't seen the movie, DON'T. It was the worst excuse for a movie I've ever seen. *complain* But that' s just my opinion, and I hope I'm not insulting anyone. :)
