The bass in some of my music is like really messed up/distorted. Or it's non existent. Even my no name mp3 player from like 10 years ago sounds alot better. There has to be something wrong. any ideas? lol It's an iPod Touch by the way... (if it werent for all the bells and whistles like wi-fi, i'd be really pissed lol)

i doubt it's the hardware since when i turn off the eq. it's fine. And it only happens with songs that already have alot of bass

My husband has the ipod touch... The one that looks just like the Iphone. We listen to it in his car, and there's no trouble with it at all. Sounds like a CD. He takes it to work with him though, so I never have it to test out the ear buds, but I would say they work fine since it works fine in the car.

It's definitely at least CD quality but i figured if a cheap mp3 player can create theater-quality sound, why not an Ipod Touch that is like so much more expensive :P

my ipod messes up sometimes, but that is just because a birdy pooped on it :o they may be look flimsy etc but they are very sturdy for the weight and size! I got used to the different sound, all mp3's have different sounds, and I guess ipod just have more bass

I'm...not a big fan of ipods. Okay, the apps are neat, but it's just the image. I have one of the newer Sony mp3's and it's awesome. Great quality. Also, I'm a PC and proud of it. XD

The sound quality is very detailed for sure but it sounds flat like a youtube video if you know what i mean :P

I hate ipods! :K I bought an itouch and within 6 months my computer fails to recognize it and so I have never updated my music on it lol. And Apple said its no longer under warranty so pretty much SOL. Wifi is amazing though but we aren't allowed to use them at my school so double :K -end rant- We weren't born to follow ♥

I find the sound quality great. When we hook up the ipod with the AUX cable in the car, it sounds just like a CD..... except with an extra 1200 songs to chose from :)
