NP Mall Closing, Want to take over?!

Hey Neomallers, I am currently the manager of a single branch mall called NP Mall. I have decided that unfortunately I can no longer run NP Mall and have to close it. I recently posted an explanation on my petpage here as to why http://www.neopets.com/~np_mall I was wondering if there was anyone out there who would like to take over managing the mall. If anyone had any ambition to start their own mall I would say that this is a great opportunity, as you already a great looking mall banner and theme, and recruitment wouldn’t have to start from scratch Things set up already for the mall: •A very great (im bias lol) looking mall banner with a matching notice board ad. •Organized mall page. •Completed faerie quest page, and a 60% finished avatar guide. •Shop layout for the mall, custom for each category, and several personal banners •Great mallers like me and 1434sweets (bias again lol). To bring the mall fully up to date it needs 3 new members for neohome, petpets, and clothing /grooming and a manager to begin doing monthly checkups again. The other members may need to be evaluated whether they are still active, and some may just need some motivation to bulk up their stock. I know beggers cant be choosers but Ideally I would like to see the mall remain main market if someone took it over. If anyone is interested please contact me on here through pm and please send me a notice that you are trying to reach me on Neopets, since I check there more often. If someone takes up managing I can provide source material for all the banners, code, photoshop files etc so you can change as you see fit. I have asked the mall members to wait 2 days before finding new malls to see if anyone takes over managing NP Mall. If no one takes over the mall before the members disband, then the graphics are still available upon request as I would love to see them still being used by someone. Once again I think this is a great opportunity for anyone who has ever wanted to run a mall, and it would be a shame to see NP Mall go under. Thanks to anyone who considers. Sincerly Nilrym

Just to chime in - I had a blast in NM mall when I was a member for a couple months earlier this year. The mall had a great vibe and I wish all its members the best of luck! :)

Thanks Nina :) ---- Hey guys to update everyone. Unfortunately I have had to pass on Desperately Yours offer to take over the mall. Chad was a great canidate, who I wanted to pass on the mall too. Unfortunately we also needed to recruit a graphic artist, which would have taken more time and I didnt want to hold up the mall members anymore. The reason for the delay in a final decision. Was that I wanted to set aside a day, which I would use to create all the graphics I felt the mall was missing. This way it would be fully completed and could be handed over to Chad to run. I thought Mon or Tues I would have been able to accomplish this goal, since they seemed like light summer days, but sadly things came up that limited the time for this long task. The rest of the week looks even busier for me, so it seems I have to face the obvious truth that there wont be time to fix what needs to be, before the mall could be handed over for management without a graphic artist on board. Im sorry to say, I guess the towel has to been thrown in and at least for now the NP Mall closing will be official. The offer is open, that if anyone in the future wants to use the graphics to start their own mall fresh with new members they can. For the current members I hope you guys find great new malls. I wish I could have run the mall forever, but all good things must end and real life calls. I wish you guys the best Dont hesitate to reach me for help or chat. Nilrym ----

Now that I have enough money for size 400, I guess it would help a little. But unfortunately, I'm not overly good at making electronic images (banners), I'm only decent at drawing physically, and I'm not sure whether that'd look good as a banner. Don't you start spreading panic! :D While a lot of people seem sad to see you guys close, I'm trying to see the positive side of all this. (I'm kind of always doing that when something happens.) Nilrem seems to have found a great girlfriend. That's great!! :) We should be happy this is one of the reasons for closing! :) There are a lot of malls now looking for members. There are just a lot of malls out there at this moment. This will also fill spots in other great malls. Which makes the existing malls also better! :) Good luck to all the members and to Nilrem with your relationship! :)

I'm very sorry the mall is closing =( The Nursery Graduates has some openings if any NP members are still looking http://www.neopets.com/~crisava *Current Nursery Mall members were allowed to join the Graduates at a smaller size, but rest assured they have aggressive upgrade goals and are meeting and exceeding them and growing quickly to MM size. The MM shops we have are great about maintaining hut great positions, and we're all getting a good amount of mall hits, not to mention all the advertising our smaller shops do.
