I'm kinda new at this category and don't exactly know what sells well and what doesn't. Is there any advice out there for a new collectables vendor?

Yeah. that's such a crummy spot. We have two Xmart Malls linking to one collectables person and even then... *lol*

Collectable cards, stamps, coins, shells etc :P
Seriously to OP if you have the chance to change you really should, unless your heart is set in collectables you stand no chance at all of doing well. The category is very poor profit.

Okay, if your into profits, it's not the best category out there, but you can still manage to do well if you have the time to RS and price at SW.

If you have the time to RS and price at SW, you can do BETTER in another category ;)

We have to be ENCOURAGING these shops so that it gets rid of its bad rep and we can actually fill these spots in malls and ads!! *lol*
I never sold that category, but my favorite items are the coconuts and shells :* I have no idea how they would sell, but good luck :)

I would do that category if I could. But I like Maps and Neggs category so much that my interest on doing a Collectibles category just overpowers it. And plus, I can't change category because that would mean leaving Fearie's Glen mall which I really don't want to do. I'm fortunate enough to be on their main market mall. I plan to stay on this mall for a few years or so until another category opens up. That time, I will maybe try the Collectibles category.

It can work. It just depends on how much you want to be in this category. I learned that you can make any category profitable as long as your willing to work for it. Thus I think that it can be a good profit category. It also often comes with the light faerie link too=D
