I don't think they are on top of this though. I saw a mall page that mentioned a maller who had died (I think) and his account was still there...so very sad! TNT do delete very old (inactive) accounts. They said in an editorial once that if the account hasn't been used for some time (years) they will purge it and free up the name for other people. I'd say they've got a system in place that does this automatically by now. All those accounts in their databases would slow down the system somewhat. If they can save some small amount of money (by not having to do a hardware upgrade) then I'm sure they will. And my account will be active for as long as I live :) 111 months old at the moment. I'm looking forward to the time when the account is half as old as I am :P (another 10 or so years)

TNT mentioned in the editorial that they will do a purge of old unused accounts. But they've been saying for a while. Neopets is losing ground to games that are more interactive. They even advertise these games on the site. I've tried some like Free Realms. They really need to do a major overhaul. Wouldn't you love to walk around and show off your well dressed pet? Like Petpet Park? (Can you imagine the lag?) Still it would be neat. The only reason I play neo is for the shopping and the neohoming:D
