I think the fake ones sold because when you search wiz for "Blumaroo steak", if you don't select "Identical to my phrase" you can accidentally get "Fake Blumaroo steak" and thinking it's a snipe, you grab it fast. That's what happened to me. LOL! I bought "Fake Blumaroo Steak" for 45k, then when I realized it was not what I had searched for and went to resell it, it had already dropped down to like 19k, so apparently a lot of other people made the same mistake I did. :P
I bought 35 "orange juice" when I realized what was happening, so I'll make about 400k on those. I'm bummed that I didn't restock much this week because I would normally have had at least 10 copies of "Gourmet Cooking for your Pet" in my SDB. At tonight's prices, that could have bought me a Draik morphing potion! My dream! So close... :P
Do you think the prices will be lower over the next few days, or higher? I managed to grab one "Gourmet Cooking for your Pets" and I'm planning to auction it, but I don't know whether to do it now or wait a day or two. Can anyone guess whether prices will drop or rise?
Boy, this sure shows you how significant avie collecting is on this site, doesn't it? Now that the secret is unlocked, ANYONE can simply wait a year, but instead so many people are willing to spend over a mil to get it now. I knew avies were popular, but I had no idea they were THIS popular! :o

I missed out on the sniping. Had one orange juice in my SDB and sold it within a minute of pricing it at 17k. Now I'm playing dice-a-roo like a mad person *lol*
lol This is obnoxious, but it happens so time to just deal with it =)

Crap, I completely missed this thread yesterday. I am waiting until next year. Maybe I can gather everything up for the avie by then at halfway reasonable prices. The book is now 800K to 2 million on the trading post. As much as I love collecting avatars, I have a real issue with spending that much for an avatar. That is a lot of shop upgrades, which is more important to me at the moment.
