I've been doing the same category for 2 1/2 years. Lather, rinse, repeat. I could do this in my sleep. Profits liven things up for me and so do new furniture releases.

I'm kidding :P When I was in Roo Island, the general store at the time sold mostly the same thing I did. Didn't bother me, so long as I make profit and don't go in the red, everyone can do as they please. I wouldn't be a very good mall leader *unsure*

lol I'm not bored with it, I love restocking petpets ^.^ especially when I snipe petpets its great. I especially love making fun of other mallers when I buy an item from them and sell it a lot higher.
I don't think I'll ever get bored of it.

Thats all there really is to it, enjoy your category and let your profits inspire you. I didnt stock the "related" items until I was sure I had pretty much everything else I could stock first.
Im very fortunate - Im in a 1001 np shop. So the only limiting factor is the size of my shop.
I go insane on half price day - it just gets ugly here lol. I love restocking my shop. If Im out of one thing - no worry, I just find something else.
