Major issue with battery life across the board. The workaround i use is turn on airplane mode when im not using it. Then battery life is excellent. I guess it's just messed up implementation of "persistent wifi" or the multitasking service... New iOS 4.2 is coming out in a few days. Hope that fixes it (probably not though) Another thing to note is.. if you get the 8 GB one, you'll find you're filling it up in no time lol. (Im already using 22.9 GB haha. Well granted, there's alot of useless stuff on there but...) Airplane mode turns off wifi and bluetooth. that's about it :P But it does save battery life... The apps are darn useful :P. I check the weather, stocks, bus schedules, google maps, to do lists, address books, notepad, email, facebook, msn, read books and of course kill time with the games. I have a 80Gig Ipod which is good enough for me unless someone can convince me into purchasing something else, as I am not upto date with the new A to Z players or whatever they are, even if they do sound good. Would love to find a site that shows me what these i-touch or e-touch do that makes them special.
