Here comes my blunt prospective on your banner:) (Be VERY afraid...) -Too long. Even if it gets lots of hits think about the buttons on the bottom. They will basically be worthless. Not entirely worthless but they will barely get any hits. -Morphing Potions,Magic,Weapons AND Medicine... You could prob just do Magic/Medicine -Simple which I like -Not sure how your banner is going to compete against a flashy banner like Fountain Mall. In my opinion it might look better darker rather then faded. Just me. -Unless 1 person gets ALL the foods. Not good idea to put them all together maybe? -Top banner is stylish -You can either make it smaller by combing buttons or reducing the button sizes. Not sure which would work better. -Altogether it's a great banner:) Yet it's got to be less faded and more "catchy" to the eye. Right now it doesn't really make me WANT to buy something. The Fountain Mall, Xmart,Main Shops and The Palazzo. Their banners pop out and make me want to visit.

I love the banner. but that might just be because if I ever ended up in that branch, my shop would have the best position in the mall *cough* wearables *cough* :P

I cannot stand fountain and Palazzo's banners, I think they are truly horrible, no way i'd buy something from their shops. The fountain malls banner just does too much flashing for me. Meanwhile Palazzo's banner I find really huge and the top animated bit annoys me. I think banners with either a small amount of animation, like xmart or else no animation at all are the nicer ones. Then beyond that i'd say quality of graphics is key, the cleaner you can get the image the better. In relation to the TML banner, I like both of them, I think they are both still a tad on the long side though, as it still involves scrolling to get to the bottom few buttons. This isn't neccessarily a problem though. Our mall banner started off a few rows shorter (Mall of Perfection). However as we got the categories tweaked and extra new members joined, we ended up with a pretty long banner. Our shops at the bottom of our banner I know full well get great hits and sales.

It is for the shop front, you are right, Jet. Love it, Eeuk! I like the new one better. :) *wishing I were as good as graphics as you*
I believe the banner is for shop fronts, not the nb board. I could be wrong though. ;)
Who said anything about the nb anyway? :P

Oh, I think it's absolutely gorgeous! I *LOVE* the colors! And the way you made all the text pop out! I'm talking about the new one, of course. Very eye catching. I really love it! I do agree that if it were more square (more rows to the side, less toward the bottom) that it would be faster to scroll down it when you are shopping, but what the heck - everyone else's looks squarish, so why not do something different? I like it! :D Need books? Please visit my bookshop. :) http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=lolooma

Just curious - did you use one program to make the whole thing, or several? Which program(s) did you use? Need books? Please visit my bookshop. :) http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=lolooma

I used paint shop pro to create this graphic, but one of these days I really need to get a better program, this one is so limited in what it can do or at least it feels that way some of the time. Thanks again everyone for the comments.

Long isn't necessarily a bad thing... I don't think it's too long, anyways :P
