I'm back from my unexpected hiatus!

Sorry if anybody has missed me - I've gone through a HECK of a lot in this last month, including our computer crashing, getting kicked out of my fiance's house, breaking up with said fiance, moving back home and making my room fit to live in. As such, I've pretty much been off of Neopets, and off of the computer altogether for the most part. And as per that, I think my mall and my shop has fallen into disarray. I will be issuing a formal apology to my mall members shortly, but if any mall members (or former mall members who may have left as a result of my inactivity) of the Rainbow Fields Mall sees this, I'm sorry for my lack of managing, I've been trying to get my life in order. I sincerely hope you accept my apology. I will be getting back into the game, slowly but surely. So nice to be back and catching up! Anything really important I've missed? -Rachie

ooh you own Rainbow Fields Mall? that's cool. Ive been thinking about wanting to join a mall, but I have a food/bakery shop and there's rarely openings in that category. and my shop is very small.

Yup. And yes, that is usually the hardest category to get into, but I've found that if you work your shop size up to a mall that you want to get the position in, and accept an open position there and then if one/both of those positions open, usually existing mall members are offered the positions first. That usually works. Yeah those tips do make sense, thanks! Well right now my shop is size 37. Very small. What Ive been debating lately is if I should spend some of the money in my bank to expand, or not... I like to save up money and just use shop profits/game np to increase shop size. BUT I know if I were to take some np from the bank Id be able to expand quite a bit, stock more, and make profits faster... decisions decisions.

Additionally, i try to put some of my profits in the bank, not spend it ALL on shop expansion/restocking. And im trying to train my pet :) which of course means np spent on dubloons/codestones. my lookup says ive been playing 16 months but i took a break for months, and just got back into it about a month ago.
