We get very good profits, actually. (: I know I've gained hundreds of thousands by being in the Nursery Malls. And The Nursery is already working its way into the Spooky Market. Which is great advertisement for the Nursery, and it also directs people to look/buy at our smaller malls' shops through the Nursery's great hits as well. (:

Well I hope "good profit" is above 250,000 NP per day since if it's not, you're better off restocking in neopian shops lol EDIT: actually 100k since you need a fast connection + old enough account to make good profit

Some days, yes, I do make at or near the 100k mark (like today I've made about 130k so far). Granted, I did have a good snipe or two, but profit is profit I suppose. My shop is size 79 and is in the second smallest branch. I get about 10-20 mall hits a day and we have 3 spots open. I can't stand restocking, no way. And maybe it isn't ALL about the profits. I see my mall (and the members of the other branches, as I talk to them often on the SA Board) as a kind of support group to keep me motivated to get my shop someday to the MM level. So what if it's only to give us "an idea of what malling is like"? We are dedicated and WILL get there eventually with the help and support of each other. I can't wait to see how far we will have come in a year or so. Yeah of course it isnt all about profits but if you wanted profits, i'm just saying there are better ways, rather than using up time to join one of the billion "micro" malls on the shop boards that fade the next day. Basically, it's hard to know which of them are good (and thus you could end up wasting time creating banners for example) unless you have other resources like this site, or have people tell you which ones are serious and not just "temporary" if you know what i mean.

Well I believe many people have been telling you that the Nursery Mall's are serious. (: And heartlessness is right, it isn't all about profit, that's not what I do it for, it is just a plus. I do get around 100k on a good day. You can make NPs without being in a major mall. x) My rule of thumb is this: if a mall is well organized, has been around for over a year and a half, has good enough profit (for us), has active members, sets goals to get their sizes bigger, and has happy members who are happy with the way their mall is, then it is a successful mall. (:

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I run the smallest branch, and I also am in the smallest branch with a shop size of 70. Why I mention this is that if I get 100k on a good day with a size 70 shop, then I'm sure people in the Nursery who have shop sizes of 200+ get well over that. So yes, people in our mall do get well over that. (:

Why else would you mall besides profit? I mean yeah its pretty fun and all, but without profit its basically pointless

~ May ~ Well I don't get 100k a day (profit that is) But then again, I can't restock to save my life, so my ONLY way out is a mall... Only things I managed to rstock (aside from the chocolate avatar that took me 3 months of complete loss for 1 good item) are blue evil fuzzles and novas XD So I dun think I would get even 10k profit a day if I decided to restock on the main shops.. Malling for smaller shops DO increase profit, no matter what you think.. If you're linked somewhere, there's a 1% chance you get 2 or 3 hits a day and they might buy a bit more... and that's already nice, when you got no skillz XD And there is the whole growing together thing, leading to a market sized mall

I do agree with you, malling is pointless without profit. Profit was my main goal in joining a mall, and I wanted lots of it. And now I do get lots of it, and I'm only going to get more and more as I grow. We all start from somewhere, eh? I just happened to join a great mall that, besides the profit, also gave me a place to escape to from three kids and had friendly members that I can relate to. x) Note: I do not neglect my kids. (:
