Ok. I'll probably drop Opera 10 Alpha support from the portal. That might be causing the unexpected hiccups. Maybe it doesnt like the new system. Anyways Opera 10.00 came out and they fixed the browser glitch where the newlines turn into squares.

Ok just checked into your DB and it appears that all those items that refuse to show up when out of stock have their notify values set at 0. What you can do is, click on admin tools (make sure you're using portal 8.1) from the main portal screen. Then Select reset warn levels. this will reset your warn levels to the default amount. Hope this helps. Also, all the data beyond what you said is lost. The index is still there, but the data entries are all blanked out. You'll probably have to re-add them to the DB using the shop front. Still dont know what caused it though

Cool resetting the low in stock seemed to fix the problem the first problem. However now I am confused. If I wanted one Islandberry Coffee in my shop would I put low in stock number then at 1 or 0? I used to have it at one but then it showed low in stock every time, even though when I had one in my shop I considered that fully stocked, so then I changed it to 0. Which would the correct number be? Thanks so much.

You'd want the number at 1, because the number it's at is the "In Stock" number, "Low in stock" would begin one below. Ex. If I want 5 in stock, I put warn at 5 and it doesn't warn me until <4, and displays "Out of Stock" at 0. 00100100 00110001 00110000 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01110011 01101000 01101111 01110101 01101100 01100100 00100000 01100111 01101001 01110110 01100101 00100000 01101101 01100101 00101110

Ok, that is what I originally thought but changed from that awhile ago as it started acting goofy on me. That's what I get for trying to fix something without understanding if I am fixing the problem or not. Thanks much, Michael

Just did that on three items. Acara Blueberry Muffin bay at: XXXX sell at 9600 In stock: 2 Notify @ 2 I want two of these in my shop. This item is showing up as low in stock even though it is not low in stock as I have two of these in my shop. Aisha Hot Chocolate Buy at: xxx sell at 1100 In stock: 1 Notify @ 1 I want one of these in my shop again, this item is showing up as low in stock even though it is not low in stock as I have one of these in my shop. Currently both items appear as low in stock, Should ABM low in stock number be 1? Then it would not appear as low in stock. If that is the case what should AHC be at? As 0 is not a correct number, or is it? Just want to make sure it is right when I go through and change them all. Thanks so much.

If the notify value is at 3, it will warn you that's it's LOW in stock at 3. So if you want two in the shop, set the notify value at 1 so when stock drops below 2 (aka 1, it will notify you) 0 is a valid number but it defeats the purpose of the low in stock feature since this notify feature only warns you that you are running low on a particular item. If a notify value is at 0, it means it will notify you when it's out of stock (stock level 0), which is what the out of stock feature does anyways
