Agreed, It is very much worth it to invest your NPs into buying some of the Higher priced neggs to make a profit from them. Especially during this time of year! Spring time seems to be the "Negg Mania" season. Haha.

Does anyone have any good ideas about how to switch categories? When I finally find a mall I may have to switch categories and that will be difficult only because of the amount of stock I am holding in food. I do not want to sacrifice profits so should I just slowly build stock in all categories (a base) since I have a general store and try not to accumulate so much in one category? IDEAS? ~ Mimi _____________________________________________________ Mimi's Ménagerie: Healthy Tastes Good Here! http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=temps_bons

I have never found a full proof way to change catagories, and some of it will depend on what the rules in your new mall. You may be limited on the time you have to make the changes. How many pages of the new stock you need to have by when things like that. Maybe just keeping a set number pf np in the bank to start your new cat with would be the best plan of action.

Because if you're hoping to find another food position it wouldn't be worth it to sell out your stock. However, if you know you're going to be switching categories I think it would be most beneficial to start selling your food stock off now, and not necessarily buy new stock, but keep the nps handy so that you could buy it on demand.

I do try to keep half of my profits in the bank and restock with the other half so I don't over spend. And I've been buying throughout knowing that I will upgrade my shop. I have bought stock like I have a size 500 shop so I have a lot in my SDB that never gets into my shop. I just remembered why I haven't used those NPs to upsize -- I wasn't sure I could handle restocking a huge shop so I'm staying small until I get a system down so I'm not on Neopets 24/7. I just realized I have a lot of stock in at least one other category. Category: Books | Items: 108 | Qty: 429 WOW! I'm hoarding more than I thought! LOL! Category: Album Item | Items: 31 | Qty: 247 Category: Battledome Equipment | Items: 31 | Qty: 49 Category: Magic Item | Items: 34 | Qty: 107 ~ Mimi _____________________________________________________ Mimi's Ménagerie: Healthy Tastes Good Here! http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=temps_bons

I do have a lot of kad/gourmet food so maybe a mall would add a category??? Does that happen often? *I think not!* Also, looking at the top shops on the counter page makes me want to switch to home/garden and wearables, *sheesh*! ~ Mimi _____________________________________________________ Mimi's Ménagerie: Healthy Tastes Good Here! http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=temps_bons

If you have the nps, you could take your previous category items in your SDB incase you want to switch back. If not, you can price at SW price and use those nps to buy your new items.

I always say most profitable is what you like to stock, otherwise you get bored fast and start slacking
